Seasoned Management Team
Phoenix's Management Team consists of seasoned veterans of the telecommunications industry. Our leadership has diverse backgrounds coming from Tier 1 Service Providers and OEM global leaders in telecommunications systems, IT and software.

John Kidwell – Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kidwell has overall responsibility for Phoenix Telecom Solutions. John is a Telecom industry veteran with many distinguished accomplishments. Previously, he was responsible for leading, developing and growing two privately held, investor-owned companies. Through a combination of internal growth and outside acquisition, John was primarily responsible for building these modest companies into $250-million-plus businesses. His creativity and business acumen significantly increased value for ownership. John is a Harvard graduate, and earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. His deep experience and breadth of knowledge in the Telecom industry are invaluable assets to the Phoenix Management Team.

Craig Brechner – Executive Vice President /Co-Founder
Mr. Brechner Co-Founded Phoenix Telecom Solutions and is in charge of strategic planning, sales and marketing and OEM relations. He is a eighteen year telecom veteran and has worked for service providers, manufactures and valued added distributors in many different roles ranging from Account Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Marketing, Executive Director of International and Vice President of Product Management for Switching, RF and Optical networks. Craig holds a Bachelors in Business Economics and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Craig also serves on the Business Technical Committee of the Competitive Carrier Association (CCA) and has presented at numerous telecom conferences including Futurecom Brazil, RCA, NTCA, Quest Forum and CTIA. Craig is a member of Who's Who in America and is on the Board of Directors of the Entrepreneur Organization of Orange County (EO).

Gary McMullin – Vice President of Quality and Engineering
Mr. McMullin served as the Executive Vice President Quality, Contracts and Test R&D at Telmar Network Technology, Inc.; where he was a member of the senior management team from 1990 until September 2008. He led the creation, development, implementation and management of Telmar's Quality Management System, including their obtaining ISO 9002, ISO 9001 / TL 9000 registrations. He also led the development of their telecommunications test and development labs. Mr. McMullin has over 36 years of engineering, manufacturing, quality and executive management and leadership achievements in the Telecommunications Industry. He has been a continuous member and participant in the QuEST Forum since 1999, participating in the development of TL 9000 requirements, metrics and best practices. He is a QuEST Forum recognized TL 9000 Expert.
Mr. McMullin has been a leader in a number of successful technology startups in the Computer and Telecommunications Industries. Mr. McMullin holds a BS Degree in Engineering from UCLA. Mr. McMullin received additional engineering and management education, quality education and training, from: UCLA, University of Colorado, University of Wisconsin, ASQ, The Philip Crosby "Quality College", The QuEST Forum and MIT.

Douglas Geier – Director of Operations
Mr. Geier has 20 years of high level operational experience including start up, acquisition and growth. Doug comes to Phoenix from Cardinal Health, a fortune 20 company where he was an Operations Manager for a local 100 million dollar business in a 500,000 square foot distribution center. Prior to his position at Cardinal Health, Doug served as Vice President of Operations for Lucor (LUCR). Previous to his appointment as Vice President, he served as Director of Operations and Regional Sales and Operations Manager for Lucor. Doug has been recognized twice as National Operator of the Year and Franchisee of the year.

Mauricio Albuquerque – Director of Supply and Program Management
Mauricio is in charge Phoenix's supply of certified reuse and OEM new equipment as well as Program Management for all technicals field service projects. He brings to Phoenix over 20 years of experience gained from working with leading telecom and IT companies. His previous employer was Cisco Systems where he was responsible for service sales and service provider channel partners. He has also held leadership positions at Verizon and IBM Brazil. Mauricio has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from San Jose State University.
