Senior Account Manager - Telecom Equipment Sourcing

 

Job Description

  • Full time Outside Sales Account Executive position and B2B sales opportunity.
  • Build strategic relationships with Service Providers, Enterprise and OEMs while identifying, developing and closing opportunities to acquire and consign excess new and decommissioned telecommunications equipment/assets.
  • Aggressively position and sell Investment Recovery and Asset Remarketing programs targeted at telecommunication carriers, large enterprise and OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
  • Meet and/or exceed predetermined sales and services quota and key objectives while operating within Phoenix’s guidelines.  

Experience

  • Experience in the Telecommunications industry is required (Wireline/Wireless).
  • Knowledge of equipment acquisition from OEMs & End-users is desirable.
  • Background in telecom repair, logistic services and procurement is desirable.
  • Experience in developing creative sales strategies, account plans, preparing proposals, and presenting service solutions.
  • Knowledge of the Information Technology secondary/refurbished market is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills (Purchasing/Sales).
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and prove their ability to grow a territory.
  • Must possess strong people skills and the desire to close business.
  • Evidence showing a proven track record with year-over-year top line growth.
  • Basic computer skills, including Email, Microsoft Office, Web, etc.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel is a must.

Additional Requirements

BA/BS or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University

Current US work authorization
