Position: Sales Assistant

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Hours: Full Time M-F - 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST

Phoenix Telecom Solutions is a leader in providing new and refurbished telecommunications equipment and services and is searching for a Sales Assistant to handle various pre and post sales support activities.  The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in supporting direct customers and working with Sales Executives on the recruiting of new customers and managing existing accounts.  This position interacts on a daily basis with the sales, purchasing, quality and the warehousing departments.  Position reports to Sales Management.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Set-up of new customers and suppliers in Phoenix ERP system.
• High volume of entering of quotes, bids and sales orders.
• All post sales follow-up activities to include shipment verification and RMAs.
• Process all customer and supplier credit applications.
• Coordinate freight for Account Executive as requested.
• Creation of Corrective Actions, Preventive Actions and Customer Problem Reports (ISO9001) requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers to schedule shipments and obtain order tracking.
• Strategic sourcing as needed.

Candidate must be Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have experience working in either an electronics distribution or reseller environment. A college degree is desirable.

Position is hourly with complete benefits which include medical and dental insurance, vacation and sick time off, paid holidays and 401K.
