 Position: Material/Product Manager (PLM)

 Location: Raleigh Durham NC (RTP)

Phoenix Telecom Solutions a growing Global Telecommunication company with offices in CA, NC, Brazil and The Netherlands is searching for a material or product manager (PLM) in their RTP location.

Principle Responsibilities

* Sourcing and supplying finished goods (working directly with manufacturers)
* Coordinating with regional and global procurement efforts/strategy
*  Auditing internal, customer and vendor inventory levels to ensure compliance with inventory policies
* Coordinating purchasing related activities with Engineering, Production, Program Management and/or       warehouse personnel
* Evaluating customer PO requirements, lead times, capacity and other factors for build readiness that meets scheduling needs
* Preparing material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems
* Ensuring the management and maintenance of all schedules are loaded into Our WMS system (forecasting module)
* Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures for scheduling and material control systems
*  Monitoring buyer performance and progress against key performance indicators
*Ensuring consistent and uniform scheduling techniques that provide efficient material movement with purchasing, production and engineering.
* Establishing and maintaining production control systems
* Coordinating with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience in material management and/or business
5 plus years working in a lead material manager/Product Management position in a manufacturing environment
Expert Excel User
Expert Analytical skills
Excellent communications skills
